inclusion statement

1. Main Inclusion Statement

At That Woman Networking, we believe every woman deserves a seat at the table and a bloody good time while she is there.

We are not here for cliques, closed doors, or networking that feels like you have wandered into the wrong room. We are here for all women, whether you are just starting out, scaling up, juggling ten plates, taking a breather, or reimagining your next chapter.

This means:

Women of every background, ethnicity and culture

LGBTQ+ women, including trans women, and non-binary people

Disabled women, neurodifferent women, carers and mums balancing business with life’s chaos

Women with privilege and women without it, learning from each other not speaking over one another

We centre women, and that includes trans women and non-binary people. If this space feels right for you, you are absolutely in, because Being That Woman is about energy, not labels.

And of course we welcome allies - men and anyone who identifies as such - who actively support and uplift women in business or want to learn how. You are in. We need all the help we can get.

We know bias, barriers and old boys’ clubs are still alive and kicking. We are not pretending they are not. We are also not waiting for permission to do it differently. We are here to create spaces where:

Connection beats competition

Authenticity beats performance

Difference is not just welcomed, it is celebrated

Non-discrimination: we do not tolerate discrimination or harassment. We do not discriminate on the grounds of age, disability, gender identity or expression, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

We are a grassroots organisation led by one woman with a big vision and a bigger heart. That means we do not have an endless budget or corporate backing, but we do have a fierce commitment to doing our best to make every woman feel welcome, supported and celebrated.

What that looks like in practice:

Accessibility: step-free and wheelchair-accessible venues wherever possible. If you need a quiet space, tell us and we will do our best to arrange it.

Dietary needs: religious, cultural, or medical. Tell us in advance and we will make sure you are catered for.

Assistive support: if you need captioning, sign language, hearing support, large print handouts or digital copies, contact us and we will work with you to get what you need.

Practical info: we share venue details, transport links and access notes in advance so you can plan without stress.

Feedback matters: we will not always get it right. We will listen, learn and do better next time.

Access requests and questions: email [email protected]. We will do our best to work with you so you can enjoy the experience fully.

This is networking with heart and sass, with a clear commitment to making sure every woman feels seen, valued and celebrated. If you are That Woman who is ready to show up, take up space and lift others as you climb, you have found your people.

2. Event Inclusion Piece

Launch Night – 18 September, Southport

Our launch night is about connection, celebration and belonging. Every guest should feel welcome and able to enjoy the evening.

On the night:

Step-free access throughout the Waterfront Hotel

Seating available for rest breaks

A quiet space on request if you need lower stimulation

Dietary requirements catered for with advance notice

Large print or digital copies of materials on request

We centre women, and that proudly includes trans women, non-binary people, gender-fluid people, and anyone whose identity does not fit neatly into a box. If the vibe of this event feels like home to you, then you are welcome here.

And yes, allies are welcome too. Men and anyone who actively support and uplift women in business, or want to learn how, are part of the picture. We need all the help we can get.

We are a small, grassroots team. If you need adjustments or support, email [insert contact email] before the event. We will do our best to work with you and get what you need.

Respect is non-negotiable. Racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, faith-based hate, classism, or behaviour that makes anyone feel small will not be tolerated.

Whether you arrive solo, with a friend, to exhibit or to dance, you belong in this room.

3. About Page Addition

A note on our name, trans inclusion, non-binary inclusion, and diversity

Yes, our name is That Woman Networking. We centre women because women deserve spaces built for them and by them.

That includes trans women and people who are non-binary, gender-fluid, or do not fit neatly into a box. If this space speaks to you, you are more than welcome here.

And of course we welcome allies… Men and anyone who actively support and uplift women in business, or want to learn how. You are in. We need all the help we can get.

Being That Woman is not about gender on paper. It is about how you show up, the energy you bring, and how you lift others as you climb.

Diversity is core to who we are. Women from every ethnicity, culture, faith, sexuality, ability and life experience are not only welcomed but celebrated. Different perspectives make us stronger, kinder and more effective in business and in life.

4. House Line

We centre women, and that includes trans women and non-binary people. If this space feels right for you, you are absolutely in, because Being That Woman is about energy, not labels. Allies are welcome too, because change is something we build together.

5. Tagline Variations

We centre women, including trans and non-binary people. Being That Woman is about energy, not labels.

Allies welcome. We need all the help we can get.

That Woman is about energy, not boxes. All welcome here.

We centre women, and that includes trans and non-binary people.

Being That Woman is a mood, not a label.

Connection beats competition. Always.

Show up. Stand out. Lift each other.

If it feels like your space, it is.

Belonging looks good on you.

Come as you are. Leave brighter.
